Our Standard plan comes with 20 GB (gigabytes) monthly traffic free-of-charge. Sites that go over their bandwidth limit are charged US$5 per each additionally generated GB. If you need more bandwidth, consider our Business plan: its 40GB/mo. traffic allowance should meet the requirements of almost any site. The charge for additional bandwidth with the Business plan is only US$3 per each additionally generated GB.

Subdomains
Subdomains are individual Web addresses built upon a pre-existing domain name, e.g. sub.example.com. For example, if you wish to have a separate website for your sales department, you could create a subdomain called sales.example.com. By changing the URL of your website you can aid usability and improve the professional appearance of your website.
With Real Free Websites you can have as many subdomains as you need. We offer up to 15 subdomains as part of our Standard hosting plan and 30 for our Business plan. If you need more, there is a small one-time fee of US$5 per additional subdomain for the Universal plan or US$3 for the Business plan.
MYSQL Databases
If you wish to have any newsgroups, message boards, forums etc. on your website you will need a database.
A database is a structured collection of data. It may be anything from a simple shopping list to a picture gallery or vast amounts of information in a corporate network. To add, access and process data stored in a computer database, you need a database management system such as MySQL.
When buying a Standard hosting plan from Real Free Websites, you get ten MySQL databases, which you can easily manage through the online phpMyAdmin Database Manager, found in the Control Panel. With our Business plan, twenty MySQL databases are included.
Parked Domain Names
When you have a domain parked on your account it will act the same way as your primary domain. It will show the same site and any e-mail sent to the parked domain will be delivered to the mailboxes you already have for the primary domain.
So for example if you have example.com, example.net and example.org, and need all of them to open your website, domain parking may be the right solution for you.
With our Standard plan you can have up to five additional domains parked at your primary domain. If you need to have more parked domains, consider our Business plan, where ten domain parking slots are available.
FTP Subaccounts
With FTP sub-accounts you can allow other people to manage certain areas of your site without providing them with your account login information.
With our Standard plan you can have up to 15 FTP sub-accounts. If you need more, consider our Business hosting plan, where 30 FTP sub-accounts are available.

FrontPage is a Microsoft Web page authoring tool that requires special server extensions to function properly. All Real Free Websites accounts include FrontPage extensions. All you have to do is login to your Control Panel and click a button to install them.
Personal CGI-BIN
CGI (which is a protocol that stands for Common Gateway Interface) is used to accomplish tasks, such as the operation of a hit counter or guestbook, that are not supported by basic HTML. To run these functions you need to place your CGI scripts in the CGI-bin directory located in your Control Panel. This directory is set up with special permissions to execute CGI scripts.
